With the Trojan War stories, I've come to see how vital the women's roles are and wanted to focus on their stories and sacrifices, because they are the ones who made it possible for the heroes to become who they were.Q: Who are your favorite heroines in Song of Sacrifice?A: Hecuba, Leda, and Clytemnestra. These heroines held so much power in their hands, but had to wield it carefully in a society dominated by equally powerful men.Q: Who do you think is the most misunderstood heroine?A: Clytemnestra.
